During the Silver Millennium, there was peace between all the planets in our solar system. Queen Serenity was the queen of the Moon Kingdom, but her daughter Princess Serenity was in love with the Prince of Earth, Prince Endymion. Queen Beryl became jealous of their love and began attacking the Moon Kingdom. Once Queen Beryl kills and destroy's Queen Serenity's love ones (her daughter Serenity and her Sailor Senshi (Scouts)) and her kingdom, she used the last of her powers to seal Queen Beryl and let her love ones be reborn in the future on Earth with her two cat advisors. The story begins with Queen Serenity's love ones, who were reborn thousands of years later, along with her advisors Luna and Artemis watching out for them until the time comes to fight again with Queen Beryl.
Once Queen Beryl breaks the seal, Luna and Artemis looks for Queen Serenity's loves ones to help them revive their long lost powers and train them to be able to win against Queen Beryl. Artemis finds Minako (Mina) who is known as Sailor V (later as Sailor Venus) in London, England and later joins the other Sailor Senshi (Scouts) once they reawaken their powers. Luna finds Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Jupiter. What about Queen Serenity's daughter, Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion? They will soon find them as the first series continues.
The story continues following each of the Sailor Senshi (Scouts) lives until they are in High School and fought the greatest battle they ever had. The story has been split up into 5 seasons and they are listed below:

1)Sailor Moon (1991-1992) - The Sailor Senshi (Scouts) are reawaken after thousands of years since they last fought against Queen Beryl. In this series, they learn how to be a Sailor Senshi and balance school at the same time. They battle with Queen Beryl and her 4 Generals with monster that work with them.
2)Sailor Moon R (R=Romance or Return) (1992-1993) - After the last battle with Queen Beryl, they loose their powers and memories to be once again reawaken in this series. This series is split into two stories.
The first story is about Ali (Alan) and An (Ann) who are two aliens that came to earth to take away energy to feed their dying tree that keeps them alive. They use cards and summon the monster from them to attack and steal energy. Sailor Moon and other Sailor Senshi (Scouts) fight them to protect the Earth from loosing all of its energy. This first story was a filler story to give Naoko Takeuchi time to finish the real Sailor Moon R story.
The second story is about mysterious young pink haired girl, known as Chibi-Usa (Rini), who comes from the future to find Sailor Moon and her Silver Crystal (Ginzusho) to help her save her mother. In the future, known as Crystal Tokyo, the Sailor Senshi (Scouts) are protecting the castle and their queen from the Black Moon (Nega Moon) family, who were banished to the Dark Moon (Nemesis) at the end of our solar system. The Black Moon family decided to go after Chibi-Usa to get the Silver Crystal from her and to destroy Crystal Tokyo in the past. What is really going on in the future? Who really is Chibi-Usa? and will the Sailor Senshi (Scouts) be able to protect the present and future of Earth?!
3)Sailor Moon S (S=Super) (1993-1994) - There is finally peace once again until Rei (Raye) gets attacked by a monster and her heart crysta is takenl out of her body. With Rei (Raye) passed out, Sailor Moon tries to get her heart crystal back, but her powers don't work against the new enemy. What can she do to save her friend?! Suddenly two mysterious women appear, who call themselves Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, took the crystal analyzes it. Once they realize it wasn't what they were looking for they gave it back to Rei (Raye). The Sailor Senshi knew it was time to once again to fight, but who are these two Sailor Senshi? Are they good or bad? Not only they met two new Sailor Senshi, but Chibi-Usa comes back from the future! She came back to be a Sailor Senshi in training as Sailor Chibi (Mini) Moon.The villains in this series call themselves Deathbusters and they are searching for pure hear crystals to find the 3 tailsman to create the Holy Grail (Sacred Cup). They need the Holy Grail to bring this evil being known as Pharaoh 90 into their world to destroy everything. Will they be able to fight them?
4)Sailor Moon Super S (Super S=Super Senshi or just plain old Supers) (1994-1995) - They had finally gotten all 9 of the Sailor Senshi team together, but 4 of them had left to take care of other things. There was a beautiful eclipse when suddenly a circus appeared, but this wasn't a normal circus! It was the new enemy! Queen Nehelenia from the dark side of the moon had wanted to get the Golden Crystal from Helios for many years. She has the Amazon Trio and the Amazon Quartet search for Pegasus, who Helios turned into, to get the crystal from him. The only way to get the golden crystal is to open people's dream mirrors and find him. Suddenly Pegasus comes into Chibi-Usa's (Rini) dreams and asks her to help him protect the golden crystal from the enemy. This series focuses more on Chibi-Usa (Rini) and her love for Pegasus/Helios.
5)Sailor Moon Stars (1995-2001) - The girls finally enter High School and join many clubs until 3 new students transfer to their school. They are the most popular band in Japan that just started not too long ago. They get along with them and become friends, but they are all keeping secrets from each other. This time when the new enemy appears they are Sailor Senshi! Not only they find out there are more Sailor Senshi out there, but they are the new enemies! What will they do?! The 9 Sailor Senshi from our solar system team up with 3 other Sailor Senshi, known as the Sailor Starlights, to fight against Sailor Galaxia and her fellow Sailor Senshi to stop her taking all the brightest star seeds from the whole galaxy. This is a Sailor War!

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (Live Action) (2003-2004) - This live action version of Sailor Moon takes place during the first season based on the manga (comic book). There are a few changes like the transformation item, a new fighting item, the cats are plushies, Luna becomes a human child and two new Sailor Senshi (Scouts).
