The Hudson Brothers--Bill, Mark and Brett--hosted this colorful and fast-paced Saturday morning comedy variety series aimed at children. Taped in Toronto and airing originally in prime-time, the show featured plenty of music, sketches, blackouts and one crazed emu puppet that attacked almost everyone in the cast. One of the best known characters was Chucky Margolis who always had a different slant on life and was always in his downstairs apartment by the storm sewer vent.

I do remember this show. I grew up in the 1970's, which was the heyday of the variety shows. I saw the summer replacement for Sonny And Cher and was shown on Saturdays which was aimed at kids and it was a variety show aimed at them.

Things I do remember of the show was the psychedelic DIVCO milk truck, Gary Ownens(Radio DJ and announcer on Laugh In), and Rod Hull and his Amazing Australian Emu who attacked people without provocation.

I love the song"So You Are A Star"by the Hudson brothers.It's a great tune and it's said to be about Goldie Hawn.
