Back to the Future: The Animated Series was a cartoon series based on the Back to the Future trilogy of films. The series lasted 2 seasons, each lasting 13 episodes, and ran on CBS from September 21, 1991 to 1992. The show focused on Marty McFly and Doc Brown, together with Doc's wife Clara, their sons Jules and Verne and dog Einstein, and Marty's girlfriend Jennifer Parker as they travelled through time using the De Lorean and steam train time machines.
The themesong was a shortened version of Huey Lewis and the News' Back in Time.
