Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

Show Summary

Aired: 1982 - 1983
Show Type: Live Action
Country of Origin: US

A short-lived series that never really found an audience. Seven orphaned brothers working hard to stay together while running a ranch in the California Gold Rush town of Murphys. Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver) and River Phoenix (Stand By Me) played the oldest and youngest brothers respectively in this adventure series. The story lines were good as was the acting but the musical numbers sometimes got in the way of the story. Overall, it was an enjoyable show.

wendyc, I have been able to collect all of the episodes except #12 "Dreams" and #13 "Christmas Song". Do you have a copy of either of these episodes?

Daniel was the one who won the Race. Adam started the race. Daniel later went to the Hospital with the Roses with Evan, Ford and Guthrie.Crane was already at the Hospital.
This was my favorite show. Still is. It would be nice to have them do a Reunion or update the McFaddens to now.
There's a few actors who would be good.My daughter likes this show and she is 6.

I am very interested in obtaining this series, hopefully for Christmas. Wendyc, if you still have copies, I'd love to buy them. I watched this series while a Freshman in college (LSU). My entire dorm would go to the basement to watch it on a small 25in screen T.V. It was great. Great Memories of the series and the time. Please reply or let me know where I can get this series. Thanks
