MADtv is a late night sketch comedy television show. MADtv premiered in 1995 and, over the years, has become famous for its sharp parodies of film, television and music.

MADtv has featured hundreds of guest stars and musical acts including: Susan Sarandon, Blondie, Kathy Bates, Jack Black, Dennis Hopper, Pamela Anderson, Shakira, David Alan Grier, Bush, Halle Berry, Kelly Clarkson, George Carlin, Seth Green, Anna Nicole Smith, Mya, Martin Short, Goo Goo Dolls, Jackie Chan, Carmen Electra, Snoop Dogg, Incubus, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani, LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, Drew Barrymore, Jon Heder, Marilyn Manson, Ludacris, Nicole Richie, Alanis Morissette, Blink 182, Avril Lavigne, Nelly, Tyra Banks, Ryan Reynolds, Don Cheadle, Outkast, Usher and Green Day -- to name only a few.

During its 11 seasons, MADtv has created a variety of original characters including: Ms. Swan, Stuart, Lorraine, Dot, the UBS Guy, the Vancome Lady and Bunifa, among several others.

MADtv's cast has evolved and changed since its first season. It has featured over 30 full-time cast members, many of whom have gone on to star in film, television and radio. Current full-time cast members include: Bobby Lee, Arden Myrin, Daniele Gaither, Frank Caliendo, Ike Barinholtz, Jordan Peele, Keegan-Michael Key, Michael McDonald and Nicole Parker.

MADtv has been nominated for a number of awards over the past 11 seasons and has won Emmys for the accomplishments of both its Hair and Wardrobe departments.

Currently, MADtv airs Saturday nights on FOX. It can also been seen six days a week on Comedy Central.

to bad the show hasnt been any good since the 90s. remember the episode where they spoofed dawson's creek. it was uh, pretty white kids with problems. and lisa loeb sang the theme song. and the guy who was like dawson had a baldspot and kept saying "im the same age as everybody else" that was soooo funny.

After Will Sassa left, the show went downhill realy fast.

My daughter was in an episode of Mad TV with Will Sasso. I am trying to find it. It may be on the 1st season CD disk, but I am not sure. The episode was call "Kids say the Stupidest things" She was in the episode with Dylan and Cole Sprouse. Can anyone help?

Mad TV is the best!...and at times even better than SNL in my opinion as snl has kindof lost its touch recently where as Mad Tv has only gotten better!
