wow i can't believe it started in 1989. i absolutely loved this show. it gave me the best feeling when it came on even as such a small kid - i'd get so excited lol. ULTIMATE!

Absolutely loved this as a kid...I remember I liked the monkey dude the best but for some reason I always pronounced his name wrong back then... The opening titles were gorgeous and always got me excited to watch the show...I had books of it too... I found one the other day in a box of old stuff... good memories... this one is one which enhanced my childhood and taught me a lot about how stories are structured.

I used to watch this as a kid would watch it especially when it would come on early in the morning on HBO
