One of the few live tv class shows that made it cool to be a nerd, and didn't feel the need to focus on the "cool" kids, the jocks, etc.

I remember in the final season, the main teacher left, and they replaced him with the Billy Connolly (Who also played the father in "The Boondock Saints", and Tom Cruise's buddy in "The Last Samurai".)

I also remember one episode, when the "cool punk" guy, was trying to teach the skinny nerd how to be cool so he could get a girl he had a crush on.
