The intro is done by Allan Melvin who portrayed "Sam The Butcher" on The Brady Bunch...also Magilla Gorilla. I'm guessing he would rather forget Wacky & Packy "L"

Also may I add Wacky & Packy was a takeoff of Sid & Marty Krofft"s Land of The Lost in which the two was transported to the 20th century.
