Nick Knight is an 800 year old vampire currently residing in Toronto, Canada. After centuries of merciless evil, he has turned over a new leaf and become a homicide detective in an attempt to repent for his past sins and regain his humanity. But fighting crime while keeping his curse a secret isn't easy and his quest is further hindered by flashbacks of his evil former-self and the return of his 2000 year old master, Lucien.

This show is without a doubt in a strange way a percursor to Joss Whedon's Angel series. Theres no possible way you can read the discription above and not think, "Hey this sounds like Angel". Of course Joss has noted a handful of times that Angel was purely based on old detective film-noir and his own brand of pop culture and over-zealous use of demons every where. Of there no way to tell if he ever knew this series exists but it is fun to think he might have.

i love this show cuz im from toronto. and right off the bat in the begening you see the C.N. Tower. the tallest free standing structure in the world. Toronto, i love it.

I love this show. Being a police officer myself there are times I wish i had Nick Knights vampire skills.
