I remember watching this as a little kid. I loved this show as a little kid. Since some of you are saying you still like it, maybe I should watch some episodes on youtube, so it can bring back some childhood memories and see how much I still like this show as of today.

Hey Vern, is a flashlight a good place to store dead batteries? I saw at least two episodes of this show and both were hilarious. Remember the clown from the show? He made a camio appearance in Ernest Scared Stupid. And by the way, for a fellow member, the "old lady with the neck brace" is Aunty Nelda and the "alien with a hand for a hat" is none other than Varney's darkest character, the evil Dr. Otto who started the movie run with Dr. Otto And The Riddle Of The Gloom Beam (1985). I have Goes To Camp, Saves Christmas, Goes To Jail and my personal favorite Scared Stupid all on DVD. I also agree that Hey Vern, It's Ernerst should be released on DVD so that us Ernest fans can add it to our collections. Here's to you Mr. Varney, takin' the denim to the great beyond, knowutimean?
