Win, Lose Or Draw

Show Summary

Aired: 1987 - 1990
Show Type: Live Action
Country of Origin: US

"Win, Lose or Draw" was created by actor Burt Reynolds ("Smokey And the Bandit", "The Cannonball Run", etc.) and long-time game show host Bert Convy ("Tattletales" and "Super Password"). The series was basically an adaption of the old party game Charades, and had two teams of three players each, with two celebrities and a contestant on each team. The players had one minute (60 seconds) to give clues to a secret phrase by sketching on a large tablet, without using letters, numbers or verbal clues. If the other team member guessed correctly, the contestant received a cash prize. If not, the other team was allowed to guess.

Wrong, musicradio77, Bert Convy didn't die in 1989, he left WLD syndication to do another game show for his company (BURT AND BERT PRODUCTIONS) (Burt Renyolds, in case, you wondering who the other BERT is.), 3rd Degree.

Bert Convy died in 1991, 3 days after Match Game 1991 ended, BTW, he was supposed to host this revival for ABC, but he got too ill to host it.

And WLD, first debuted on NBC with Vicki Lawrence and THEN the syndicated version debuted about a week or 2 later in 1987.

And, Tattletales ended June 1984, replaced by Body Language on CBS, Super Password debuted on NBC in September of 1984.

I'm like an expert of Game shows, so I know this category.
