Popular comedian Mark Curry plays Mr. Mark Cooper, a single high school teacher and basketball coach living in Oakland, California. Between coaching, teaching, dealing with neighborhood struggles and living with two beautiful female roommates (played by Holly Robinson Peete and Dawnn Lewis), Mr. Cooper keeps a humorous, positive outlook on life and provides advice and fun to the many people in his life that he encounters. The show also stars Omar Gooding as one of Cooper's students and basketball players Earvin Rodman. The show became more family orientated in the second season, adding Raven-Symone and Nell Carter while dropping Dawnn Lewis.

It was an aight show now that I watch it in syndication now but when it was fresh and new on TGIF I thought it was hilarious!! Mark was so nonchalant when he made his jokes (was he even going by a script???). Good show overall, can't say I missed it cuz it comes on everyday on TVOne..

Anyone remember when Raven was rapping? Used to dance to that all the time... I thought she was so cool when she did that!! Seems so lame now..

I loved the entire series....I used to end up in tears some episodes because it was so damn funny.

Mr. Cooper is back on ION!!! Still as funny when I seen them the first time.
