From what I can remember, it aired during the mid 80's ( I think from 1986- maybe '87 or '88) on Sunday mornings before the Cartoon Express, on the USA Network. D J Kat was this cat puppet who wore a black leather jacket, had a female( human) co-host, and introduced cartoons. While showing one episode of popeye every show, he introduced every cartoon as "Popeye". He occasionally had special guests on his show, such as wrestler Jake "The Snake" Roberts

Edit: the female co-host was the dutch Linda de Mol.
It was also shown on a UK sat channel in the early 90`s. Mon-fri from 3.45pm-5pm. Which hosted a call in game called Kat's Alley.

No!

Linda De Mol was not the co-host of"The DJ Kat Show".

It was Elizabeth Rose and later Carmen De LaPaz

as"Jennifer Davis".

The head puppeteers/Puppet makers and performers

on the show were:Jim Martin and Craig Marin.

The show was first seen on WNYW TV Ch.5 in

NYC on Saturday mornings beginning in October,1987.

It later moved to Sunday mornings..where it remained

on the air..until Sunday December 24,1989.

"DJ Kat"was last seen hosting "The Fox Five Kids Club"

weekday afternoons from Monday December 25,1989 to

Friday March 15,1991.

Yes it totally was Linda De Mol who were the co-host of"The DJ Kat Show".

How i know?

I won a first price back in the day, and i got 4 signed postcards by DJ CAT and Linda and a framed golden fishbone with the logo and stuff:)

'Linda de Mol' did co-host this show, only in the dutch version.
