After being asleep for 100 years, dragon Scorch wakes up. Flying around, a flash of lightning hits him and he falls down just infront of the window of Brian Stevens' apartment. Brian is living there with his eight year old daughter Jessica and is just preparing for a job interview. Scorch immedately endears himself to Jess butnot to her father but, however, he persuades Brian to take him alongto the interview. There Scorch pops out of his bag. Quickly, Brian tells that he's a ventriloquist and the dragon is his dummy. Brian(with Scorch) gets the job as a wheather announcer on WWEN-TV's'News at Noon.' The song during the opening of the show was very spooky but also very good. Unfortunately, the show only aired for about a month. It usually came on before the Fish Police show.

i thought it was a cute show...i taped an episode or two of it, so i should have episodes somewhere in my archives.

YES! I remember seeing this with Fish Police in the second grade too, I love dragons and thought it was the cutest thing. This too also didn't make it? Argh why does so much stupid egotistical primetime crap like "Friends" stay on for god knows how many seasons and I think has best-selling DVDs too, yet gold stuff like this just goes almost completely forgotten years later?

I have the first couple of Episodes on tape somewhere.The first episode when he arrives at the house and the one where he gets the dragon flu. The theme song from what I remember: When your cave is covered in cobwebs and your breath feels charred when you yawn....lol that's all I can remember.I'll have to dig out the tape from storage.

loved the show loved how scorch was always messing with the other anchor man and hitting on the anchor woman as brian (because ofcourse he was supposed to be a puppet) and the boss was always drinking pepto or maylox or something from the bottle great show don't know why it went off the air or fish police also another great show that died befor it's time R.I.P. only the good die young
