 Hal Smith did the voice of John Avery Whittaker fir the radio drama Adventures in Odyssey from 1987 until his death in 1994
Mr.Smith did voice overs for many movie and tv cartoon
characters.
He also played "Mayberry"town drunk "Otis Campbell"
on "The Andy Griffith Show"on CBS TV from 1961 to 1970.
Mr.Smith also hosted his own local Los Angeles,Cal.
kids tv series:"The Pancake Man"on KHJ TV Ch.9 in 1966.
"The Pancake Man"was also seen in national syndication
during the 1966 tv season.
