Bruce Lorne Campbell (born June 22, 1958) is an American actor, director, and writer. He is regarded by many as a B-movie icon due to his role as "Ash" Williams in the Evil Dead trilogy of movies. Campbell is known for his over-the-top machismo and his deadpan, sarcastic sense of humor. To date, he has acted in over 50 films and 16 television shows, and has written two semi-autobiographies: "If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor" and "Make Love! The Bruce Campbell Way".
