Born in Brooklyn
She got her first start in the broadway production of Annie(She wasn't Annie, but one of the little girls in it).
Got the role of Samantha Micelli in the T.V. show "Who's the Boss?" in 1983, and the show aired in September of 1984. It ran until May of 1992. After she decided to go after roles that weren't like the lovable girl she portrayed on t.v. She ended up on a couple B type films that went directly to videos. Like Public Enemy #1 and Embrace the vampire to Poison Ivy II. Some other films like Double Dragon and Little Sister, just didn't make it big in the theaters. Then in 1996, Aaron Spelling hired her to be on his show "Melrose Place". She played a lying, manipalating, cuniving, young sister to Michael Mancini; named Jennifer Mancini. After playing that role for a season, Aaron Spelling offered her another role in a different series about three witches with powers. That show was "Charmed". Aaron needed another person to take the role of the youngest, because the person who had it. Just left with no apparent reason. So she took the role of it. During the second and third season, she got married and divorced. A former cast member went beef on her and that cast member is gone now from the show, but replaced with another actress as another younger sibling named paige. The show ran from October of 1998 to May of 2006. For eight seasons long. During the course of the show, she has done numbers of charities and projects out of this country and in Africa. What's next for her. I don't know, but I've heard that she might come back into comedy on the small screen.
