Paul Dooley originally wanted to be a cartoonist..later on
..he wanted to be a silent film comedy performer.
But?
When he moved to NYC..He found out that talkie films
had replaced silent film comedies.
So..Mr.Dooley became a clown..performing at children's
birthday parties and at many local functions.
Soon..he became a stage actor and he also performed on
many local tv shows..including The WOR TV Ch.9 NYC version
of the popular chidren's radio western"Bobby Benson And His
B Bar B Riders".
Mr.Dooley appeared in many films including"Sixteen Candles",
"Popeye" and"Breaking Away".
He also appeared on such tv shows as NBC TV's"Marx Magic
Midway!"with Claude Kirchner,Doug Anderson,Bill Bailey,Bonnie
Lee Bailey,Lou Stein & "Circus Seven Band" and"Alf".
(During his brief stint with"Marx Magic Midway"..Mr.Dooley
worked under the professional name of Phil Kiley)
For a time..Mr.Dooley also write the scripts for
PBS TV's"Electric Co."
