*Something wrong, Mr. Ventura?* Of course not. This is a lovely room of death. Take care now, bye-bye then.

Jodi Benson's real name is Jodi Marzorati. She was born in 1961 in Rockford, Illinois. A veteran Broadway actress by her mid-20s, she was recruited by Disney to provide the voice of Ariel in "The Little Mermaid". She has been forever associated with the character since, and she's fine with that. Although known for playing sweet characters, she can expand her repetoire when necessary. For example, in Disney's 2007 spit-in-the-face-at-their-past "Enchanted", Benson played a cynical bitch of a secretary named Sam.
Other noted works include voicing the Barbie dolls in "Toy Story 2" and doing voice-work on several Cartoon Network shows of the 00s including "Grim & Evil" and "Camp Lazlo".
