Michelle Pfeiffer

Biography

This quintessential California girl was born in 1958. Before she became an actress, she held several jobs including supermarket checker, clothing store employee and face character at Disneyland (she played Alice from "Alice In Wonderland" in the Main Street Electrical Parade). Her first acting work was as the character of The Bombshell on the short-lived "Animal House" TV spin-off "Delta House". The movies soon beckoned, and her first roles were in movies that weren't all that popular with critics, including titles like "Charlie Chan And The Curse Of The Dragon Queen", "Grease 2". She played the role of drugged-up doll Elvira Hancock in the 1983 classic "Scarface" (which, believe it or not, was hated by critics in its' time), which served as a break-through for her. She's been acting steadily for over a quarter-of-a-century now in many different types of films, some of which are well-known (like "Batman Returns") and others of which have come in under the radar (she recently portrayed a courtesan in a romance called "Cheri", which I didn't even know had come out. I'm guessing they were too busy hustling "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen").

Still, she's doing her thing and doing it well, and we all look forward to future material from her.
