 Born in new york on September 21 1971, Ribeiro is an actor, singer and dancer that has been performing since age eight appearing on Broadway and in a Pepsi commercial with Michael Jackson. in 1982 he was cast in the TV show Silver Spoons as Ricky Schroder's best friend Alfonso Spears. He is best remembered as Will Smith's cousin Carlton Banks on series "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" (1990)
