Hugh was the adoptive son of Carroll O'Connor (All In The Family). He worked with his dad on the TV show "In The Heat Of The Night". After Hugh took his own life, Carroll spent the rest of his life in the prevention of drug abuse. He died way too young. There are alot of people with the same problems.
