Jodie Sweetin

Biography

Jodie Sweetin was born on January 19, 1982 in Los Angeles, California. She started acting at an young age. She was recognized as an especially talented youngster. Jodie's mom, Janice, bearing the wishes of family friends took her talented little 4 year old to a talent agent.

It was the sky's the limit from there! Her career started with four national commercials and a cameo appearance on the television show Valerie aka. The Hogan Family. Her adorable smile won the hearts of producers Miller and Boyett who were at the time formulating a new sitcom called "Full House". Miller and Boyett had seen Jodie's performance on The Hogan's Family and immediately knew she was perfect for their new show. Jodie didn't have to audition. In fact, they built the Stephanie character on Full House around her!

Jodie was only 5 years old when "Full House" premered back in 1987. She also went on to star in Jim Henson Presents Mother Goose Stories in the same year. Most of you remember the early seasons of Full House & will no doubt recall the incredible acting abilities she possessed at such an early age. Jodie went on to grow before our eyes as Full House continued for 8 great years, until its sudden cancellation in 1995. During her years on Full House she developed an incredibly large following of devoted fans.

Jodie then followed to have guest starring role in Brotherly Love. She also had attended a "Full House Reunion" on America's Funniest People in 1997 and was on All Star Magic the same year. She went on to do some commercials for Cheerios, Kooshlings, & Disney/Seaworld.

Jodie graduated from Los Alamitos High School in 1999 at only 17 years old! After a 2 years absence from television, so she could be a "normal teenager", she landed a repeating guest starring role on "Party of Five" playing a character named Rhiannon. She is currently attending Chapman University in Southern California.

Jodie was married late in July 2002 to a gentleman by the name of Shaun. Not much else is known about her wedding at this point in time though.

In 2003 she made one guest appearance on a CBS show "Yes Dear." Other than that she is staying out of the public eye and getting used to the married life.

All of her her fans are asking "Where will Jodie show up next?" Only time will tell what this talented young actress has in store, but one fact is for sure, she will have millions of fans following her every step of the way.
