Cam Clarke

Biography

born and raised in los angeles, CAM CLARKE, son of actor ROBERT CLARKE ("the hideous sun demon", "the man from the planet x") and singer ALYCE KING (of THE KING SISTERS), started his career at the young age of six when he and his real-life family starred in their own music variety show on ABC called THE KING FAMILY. after first appearing on the very popular program, THE HOLLYWOOD PALACE in 1964, they launched their weekly series in january of 1965. however, they are best remembered for their holiday specials like CHRISTMAS WITH THE KING FAMILY. they performed together on recordings, on stage and on television through the late 70’s.

cam began his voice over career in the early 80's on the anime favorite, ROBOTECH, where he played the characters of "max" and "lancer".
His biggest claim to fame however came a few years later when cast as "leonardo" and "rocksteady" in the THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, which enjoyed a very healthy 8 year run! since that time, he has enjoyed working on numerous other popular animated series such as "die feidermaus" on THE TICK, "mac" on CLIFFORD, THE BIG RED DOG, and most recently as "he-man" and "prince adam" on HE-MAN AND THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE.
his work can also be heard in such successful games as METAL GEAR SOLID playing "liquid snake" and PAINKILLER as "daniel". cam has also had the privilege of voicing hundreds of radio and television commercials and releasing two recordings as a solo performer over the span of his four decade (and counting!) career.
