 Jack Soo, born Goro Suzuki, was born on October 28, 1917 in Oakland, California, was swept up in the relocation of those who were of Japanese descent.
He made his debut in the Rogers and Hammerstien musical Flower Drum Song. During the 5th season of Barney Miller he was diagnosed with throat cancer and surcumbbed to the disease on January 11, 1979.
