Movie Summary

Released: 1997
Danny Cat goes to Hollywood to be a star, but he doesn't know in Hollywood cats can only say "meow". He meets new friends including Woolie Elephant, Cranston Goat, Tillie Hippo and Sawyer the white cat. He also meets Darla Dimple, a popular yet spoiled child actor who hates animals (especially talented ones like Danny and Sawyer). Danny and his friends work together to achieve their dreams while dealing with Darla and her butler, Max.

I loved this movie. My grandma got it for me on video (my grandma basically collects VHS's) and I watched it there.

I loved cats (I had one of my own back then, it was the only pet I had) and I watched the hell out of it. I loved the singing. And the kitties fell in love! That was the best part.

I still love it today. The animation is awesome.

i guess some people like scott bakula aren't well known, but other than that, this is a great flick, and funny enough, the very first musical i ever watched... the vhs tape includes a dexter's laboratory short, which makes for a nice treat after the movie, or before. the animation is slick, smooth, and the movie itself goes out with a bang! =)
