The Rescuers

Movie Summary

Released: 1977
Two mouse agents from the International Rescue Aid Society set off on Orville the albatross to answer a call for help sent by a little orphaned girl who's been kidnapped by the evil Madame Medusa. The rescuers, Bernard and Miss Bianca soon find out that Medusa's plan is to force the little girl down into a black hole to search for the world's largest diamond, the Devil's Eye.

i see the the rescuers in 1977, it re-released it at theaters in 1989, and came out on the 1992 VHS of the rescuers. and then i got this DVD at WAL*MART one year ago.

I could've sworn this movie came out in the 80s cause I saw it when it came out and I wasn't born in 1977... It must've been a re-release that I saw... This was one of the first movies I ever saw at the cinemas... I remember I saw "The Land Before Time" the same year but I can't remember which I saw first.

This was an awesome movie. The sequel is better, though.
