This movie was entertaining but SO cheesy. It's like a bad ripoff of Karate Kid, only the protagonist is trained by Bruce Lee's ghost!

It's also the first movie where Jean-Claude Van Damme received top billing, even though he didn't even appear onscreen until like an hour into it.

I loved this movie when I was 12 . I preferred it to the karate Kid.

This movie was a b-movie all the way. I being a huge fan of b-movies loved it. Jean-Claude VAn Damme plays a Russian enforcer of a boss that shuts down Jason's father's dojo. His father is anti-violence after the ordeal and having his leg broken by Ivan. Jason then is trained by the ghost of Bruce Lee in an abandon house.
