In the year 1997 New York city has been turned into a maximum security prison. The President of the States plane has crashed in the Manhattan area. It's up to US veteran & bank robber Snake Plissken to get him back to safety.

Directed by John Carpenter and staring Kurt Russell, Lee Van Cleef, Ernest Borgnine, Donald Pleasence, Isaac Hayes, Harry Dean Stanton and Adrienne Barbeau.

I under-estimated this movie at first, but it is really a movie that you can watch more than once and still get into. Good story and excitement all the way through.

Kurt Russel at his best... Next to "The Thing" of course..

Adrianne Barbeau still had a nice rack too...LOL

This movie rules over all others snake plissken the best action hero every. Rambo picked on a bunch of hick cops who were out of their league. Die hard ran around a building ducting and weaving. Robocop, the guy got shot in the first minute of the movie then becomes a robot cop that eats baby food. And Arnold lost all credibility with twins.
