Star Trek III: The Search For Spock

Movie Summary

Released: 1984
Admiral Kirk's defeat of Khan and the creation of the Genesis planet are empty victories. Spock is dead and McCoy is, seemingly inexplicably, being driven insane. Then an unexpected visit from Sarek, Spock's father, provides a startling revelation: McCoy is harboring Spock's living essence. With one friend alive and one not, but both in pain, Kirk attempts to help his friends by stealing the Enterprise and defying Starfleet's Genesis quarantine. But the Klingons have also learned of Genesis and race to meet Kirk in a deadly rendezvous.

This movie was cool addition to Wrath of Kahn. Good stuff and very personal. Of course Nemoy was directing and he is one of the best directors of Trek.

This movie taught you how to say "beam me up" in Klingon. It also set the precedent for destroying the Enterprise (only to resurrect it in the next film). Two actors better known for their comedy appeared in Klingon makeup: Christopher Lloyd and John Laroquette.

Christopher Lloyd as a Klingon... weird. Some may disagree but I think this is equal if not better than “The Wrath of Khan.” I know what you're thinking. Blasphemy... right? I don’t care! I stand by my opinion.
