Here's the story behind Part III:

Turns out in an interview for the 1st movie, Michael J. Fox said he always wanted to go back to the Wild West, thus this movie's 1885 timeline came to be.

I liked the fact that Doc Brown fell in love in this movie and the conflict it caused with Doc not knowing whether to go back to the future or stay with Clara. Also Marty's "Chicken" problem is finaly resolved.

We finally get the third installment in the Back to the Future franchise in 1990, Back to the Future part 3! You personally I liked the first two sequels over the third personally. But what is great about this movie that it has a strong heart like the orginal in 1985. I did like the love story between Doc Brown and Clara Clayton. In the past the filmmakers never spent alot of time on Doc's point of view and i thought it was cool to mix it up a bit.
