The Banana Splits in Hocus Pocus Park

Movie Summary

Released: 1972
The live-action Banana Splits (Fleagle, Drooper, Bingo and Snorky) try to help a girl retrieve her balloon, but their search leads them into Hocus Pocus Park, where they suddenly become animated. Soon they find themselves battling a witch, a magician and a sorcerer.

This originally aired on "The ABC Superstar Saturday Movie," and served as a pilot for an animated version of "The Banana Splits Adventure Hour," their series which had been canceled two years earlier. The film has never been officially released on video, but it has popped up on cable a few times in recent years.

I loved The Banana Splits! Danger Island and everything. Why can't I find it in the TV show section?

They always show Banana Splits stuff on Cartoon Network. Promos that is. I was so into these guys, especially when their designs were on 7-11 Slurpee cups. Well that's what I remember but I could have been dreaming. hah
