Marlo Thomas reprises her role of Ann Marie from the sitcom "That Girl!" in this animated special. This time around, she's not an aspiring actress, but a children's book editor whose daydreams pit her as the heroine in many classic tales from literature ("Cinderella," "The Wizard of Oz," "Snow White," "Sleeping Beauty," "Goldilocks," etc.).
This take-off on "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" was a pilot for an animated series, and it aired on "The ABC Superstar Saturday Movie." The film has never had an official video release.
"That Girl In Wonderland" never became a series..although?
It was rerunned on The Cartoon Network during the 1990's.
