The Velveteen Rabbit

Movie Summary

Released: 1985
Velvee, a stuffed bunny toy, is given to young Robert for Christmas. Soon, Velvee becomes loved best of all out of all of Robert's toys. But when Robert takes ill, everything he's come into contact with must be destroyed -- so it's up to the Nursery Fairy to rescue the velveteen rabbit.

Based on the classic novel by Margery Williams, this is probably the best-known version of the film, and it's been released numerous times over the years on VHS and DVD.

I think their should be a new live action movie adaptaion to The Velveteen Rabit sometime in the near future. I saw a live action play of The Velveteen Rabit live at the Pershing Auditorium in Lincoln, Nebraska back in 1992.

I kind of remember this movie. For the most part I remember seeing the cover of the video tape at the library when I was real little and renting it. Maybe if I saw some parts of the movie it'll all come back to me.
