Released: 1986 Kermit and the Muppet clan go to New York to try to get a revue staged on Broadway. Once there, they find this to be quite a daunting task, so each of the Muppets go off in their own direction and find 9 to 5 jobs. But once a producer takes an interest in staging a show and all the friends return, Kermit is struck down with amnesia and vanishes.
This was the third big-screen Muppet film (after "The Muppet Movie" and "The Great Muppet Caper") and the final Muppet film to be helmed by Jim Henson. Once again, celebrity cameos and inside-jokes were rampant. Due to the overwhelming success of a flashback sequence that featured the Muppet characters as infants, the series "Muppet Babies" soon followed.
