One of the biggest teen movies of the 90s, this is the tale of a geek named Mark Hunter (Christian Hunter). Mild-mannered and meek by day, at night he takes on the guise of a man named Hard Harry, broadcasting a pirate radio show that soon gains an audience of his peers, hanging on his every word. While wooing a fellow student named Nora Diniro (Samantha Mathis), Mark comes to learn that, even if it's local, fame still has a price.
Don't be fooled by those who say that the early 90s were still like the 80s...This movie was proof that when a new decade begins, it has the impact of an atomic bomb.
