Sally Field plays the lead role in this highly disturbing film as Karen McCann, a mother whose daughter Julie (Olivia Burnette) is visciously raped and killed by a psychopath killer (Keifer Sutherland). He is caught and put on trial, but due to a legal technicality, is set free. Frustrated by the legal system, Karen (Field) becomes obsessed with her daughter's killer, and will do just about anything to avenge her daughter's death. Ed Harris takes supporting role as Mack McCann.
