Movie Summary

Released: 1984
A film depicting the invasion of the United States from the north and south by communist forces from Cuba and Russia in the beginning of WWIII and the efforts of partisans from a small mid-western town to turn back the invasion. This film is one of the basis of the beliefs of the citizens militias and patriot groups about the possiblity of a U.N. takeover of the U.S. The movie and the theory of the New World Order proposed by the militias are similar, invasion by a foreign force, a big gun grab, arrest of gun owners, military equipment being moved on railroads, enemy helicopters re-education facilities (concentration camps), and a citizen force that strikes back.

"WOLVERINES!" Yeah, i'd be scared, (S**Tless), if the terrorists, (back in the day where Russians), invaded America's high schools. But i know we, "U.S.", have the best defense & security in our homeland, right? Or atleast we hope so! Ya know?!! Go see the young Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, & other fine young American teens fight & kick the Russians/Cubans, TERRORISTs ASS!! ;-P

LOL!
Actually I believe it was the other way around. The militias and survival groups were around long before 1984, lets say mid 1970's. So the idea that they based their Ideas on some movie is sheer Stupidity. The term “New World Order” was introduced By George Bush Sr., and was used to describe the world after the first Gulf War, but took on a new meaning under the Clinton Administration. IE Globalism. As far as “Gun Grabs” that has been practiced by every group of socialist from the NAZI to the Cold war Communist, to the current Democratic Party. I think the Irony is telling that Holly wood produced very few movies about the Communist during the >Actual Cold War,< because of their close affiliation with Socialism/Communism.

The movie is a little cheesy, in some areas, IE “Teens Fighting Russian Solders” but the principal behind the story is sound. Also I am guessing it was shot on a rather low budget and did not have major studio support.
