We rented this movie back in '88 because everything else was out. Can't remember ever laughing so hard. The Japanese guys who thought they were Howard Cousel were hysterical.

Loved this movie I can watch this over and over again. My favorite part is they invite the neighbors over for dinner with the foreign exchange student and Ricki's mother blows up. That was hillarious. I also liked when the mother tries to cook all these things and the come out weird.

this is the earliest movie i can remember watching in theaters. i was either five or six when my parents had taken me. i still vividly remember, from that youthful perspective, watching the dancing claymation burgers and the rocket taking off in the garage at the end. although i have seen the movie occasionally on tv, i remember those specific scenes as if i were still in 1985. i guess as a kid, those silly things were most memorable to me.

"Its Chrismas Eve dude I could be home drinking a monster egg nogg my brother makes with lighter fluid." This has to be my favorite comedy of all time. I stayed at my aunts as a kid and she rented this movie and I was hooked. Classic 80's comedy! They do not make them like this anymore.
