Movie Summary

Released: 1973
A bunch of high school graduates have one last night of fun before going off to college. On that night friendships will be formed, relationships will be tested, and self-discovery will occur.

This is the quintessential 60s reflection movie. Girl leaves "good" boy for "bad" boy, almost gets killed in a race and returns to good boy. The "geek" who takes his first drink and immediately throws up. And, Wolfman Jack----a great soundtrack to boot!!

Im pretty sure "Dazed and Confused" was based after this movie. Watch this movie, and then watch "D & C", you will find that they have a lot in common.

lordxbox66 is right. If you watch these two movies they have alot in common. exept that the teens in american graffiti are suppose to be teens in the 50's and the teens in dazed and confuzed are suppose to be teens in the 70's. Its a great movie though.

This Film Was Amazing. It Layed The Foundation For Another Great Movie, Dazed & Confused.
