Movie Summary

Released: 1984
A teenager in a California trailer park has big dreams of going to college and leaving his hometown behind, and taking his girl with him. Only, plans chains when he busts the record on the canteen's Starfighter machine. Recruited by the Star League, Alex must come to grips with his self-doubt, and become the greatest Starfighter in Rylan history, even if he's the only one left!

Robert Preston played the coniving alien

"Centauri"in this movie.

This was Mr.Preston's last movie role.

Say what you want, I'm 33 years old now and I still love this movie as much today as I did then. What I wouldn't give to see some sort of followup to it. (not a remake)
