American Super Mario Bros 2

Sad, but true. The REAL "Super Mario Bros. 2" is actually "Super Mario Bros. - The Lost Levels". I guess the people at Nintendo of America thought that it would feel too repetitive for gamers who played the original. This is probably why they converted "Doki Doki Panic!" into a Mario game. Nevertheless, both games are great!

Proper Italian pronunciation of Mario is "MAH-ree-oh" with a slight drawl on the "r."

He does say mah-ee -ho wow but it wasent a side story of luigis dream, it was marios(or Mah-ee-ho)s dream. Well thats what is on the gameboy advance version of mariobros 3....

Yeah, I don't know why some people pronounce it Marry-O? LOL

I still love the American version of Super Mario Bros. 2. I did download the Japanese version on the Wii Virtual Console. Man, that game is very hard, but I love the challenge.
