The sound's a little out of synch and the pic's not great (I'm assuming this was lifted from YouTube), but it's great to finally see this in it's entirety. I'm left with just one question: what the hell was so scandalous about it? Yes, I realize the actual music video for the song (which got endless airplay) was a bit racier, but this commercial was tastefully done. Me thinks that the conservatives radically over-reacted.
The Pepsi comercial was not contoversial, it was the music video that was, this is not the music video that aired on MTV, this is the pepsi comercial which promoted her new album, plus there was some teaser comercials that was saying to be sure to wach for the comercial. I only seen this comercial once, and now I can find it here. As I mentioned earlier the Music video was the contoversary one and not this comercial
The controversy was that Pepsi was too uptight and didnt want to promote madonna after controversial video featuring flaming crosses and a black jesus, the catholic churches are the ones who made this such a controversy and made madonna tons of money cause it made her video even more scandalous and popular, plus she got all the money for making the commercial even tho it didnt air, so pepsi was the big loser of tons of cash!!
