It's been eight years since Scott Calvin decided to put on the suit and get subject to the Santa Clause, but there is a new and recently discovered part of the Santa Clause, the Mrs. Clause-if Santa does not find a wife and marry before the next Christmas Eve the clause will be broken and Christmas will die away! To top things off, Scott's own son Charlie now 16, is on the naughty list! Scott must venture back to his hometown and get find a wife, which he may find in Charlie's bitter principal Carol Newman, but may still find Christmas totally destroyed by a life-size toy Santa!
