The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat(1974)
In this 1974 sequel to the X-rated hit "Fritz the Cat", We see Fritz married to a nagging wife, living on welfare, and he's out of work. And he's hating every minute of his new life. To escape his nagging reality, he smokes pot and has a psychadelic trip that takes him to his eight other lives. This film was made without the help of Robert Crumb, the guy who created the crafty feline, and Ralph Bakshi, the director who made the first one. This was a box office disappointment, and it wasn't well-recieved by critics or audiences, possibly because the film concentrated more on politics rather than sexual material, which made the first one more popular. The Nine lIves of Fritz the Cat later became a cult film.
