Dom Deluise,Anne Bancroft,and Ron Carey,star in this comedy about a man named Dom Dinapoli(Deluise),and his struggle to lose weight.After their,overweight,cousin Sal dies(at 39),Dom's sister Antonette(Bancroft)tries to get him help losing weight.No matter what though, Dom can't help himself,then he meets a lovely lady named Lydia,who changes his life.Can Lydia help Dom stop eating,or is he destined to end up like Sal.Anne Bancroft makes her directorial debut,in this touching,and funny comedy/drama.Produced in association with Mel Brooks(Brooksfilms).
