I used to love this movie. But I couldn't say it. I would say "fungully" because I couldn't pronounce my R's. :)

foxkidsfan Posted 4 years 6 months ago
Though I loved the nostalgia critic's review of the film, I have to admit that he is wrong about this film and so is the nostalgia chick. This film is a great animated classic, plus it has great voice acting from Samantha Mathis, Robin Williams, Jonathan Ward, Christian Slater and Tim Curry. The songs I loved in the film were: Some other World by Elton John and Tim Curry's Toxic Love.
    Nails105 Posted 4 years 10 months ago
Good movie, the sequel was fine. The Nostalgia Critic just doesn't see a classic when he sees one.
    Bokura63 Posted 4 years 10 months ago

This was one of my fav movies when I was little, I still love it. Havent seen it in forever thought. I remember the evil smoke guy thing killing all of the forest and it was real creepy and I remember Robin Williams was the bat dude too. And I remember the dude with the blond hair shrunk and they were all listenin to his portable yellow cassette player and they were all dancin. Awesome movie.

Batty was HOTT! LOL, Christian Slater. I always think of him in Heathers. "Eskimo!"
RetroGAL Posted 7 years 5 months ago
Yeah this movie was cute Holy Crap Christian Slater Wow thats a name I have not heard in a while.
LehveTheGryphon Posted 7 years 6 months ago
I grew up with this! The bad guy (Can't remember his name to save my own life) used to scare the living daylights outta me and I'd have nightmares about him. o_o Same thing with the ooze from that My Little Pony movie...Anything that looked like slime and was evil scared me, now that I think about it.
Vercalos Posted 7 years 9 months ago
I liked the movie, but the villian freaked me out when I was younger.
    dr.maikel Posted 7 years 11 months ago

I watched this the other day for the first time since I was little and I really enjoyed it. I might even get it on DVD since all I have is a Disney Channel recording on a tape that's over 10 years old(still held up good though).
EmeraldeJade Posted 8 years 19 days ago
I remember this movie. I loved it. Batty was so awesome. The sequel was ok. But not as good as the first of course.
BlueMario Posted 8 years 1 month ago
Huh? Oh yeah, I remember this, I totally forgot about this movie. I was very cool. With all those fairies flying around the rain forest, I thought they were cute back then.

Did Chrysta give anyone els wood? Seriously though, I thought the bad guy Hexxus was pretty cool. Especialy at the end when he was a giant skeleton covered in a robe of sluge. Awsome!
    retro_nerd Posted 8 years 9 months ago
When I was three I decided that I wanted to be Chrysta.
    Hasn't changed. lol
    mrs.link Posted 8 years 9 months ago

Trashley Posted 8 years 10 months ago
I have always hated this movie. It's such a big part of my childhood though because I was always forced to watch it, and I just hated it. Just something about it, I could not stand. I'd like to watch it again for old times sake though...hah hah.

Sometimes animated movies, even the most innocent ones, can secrete a certain sexual appeal, whether it come from dialogue or actions. “The Jungle Book” also gave me this kinda vibe—during the snake scene. “FernGully” had it alllll over—some parts more than others.
