I just watched this the other day on TV and I must say it looked as though Eddie Murphy had suddenly forgotten how to play Axel Foley.

Despite that I still enjoyed it

I also enjoyed watching this installment of Beverly Hills Cop, but I honestly liked the third one better.

This was an okay sequel, but it lacked heart. What it gained in action, it lost in emotion. I felt for Axel and the characters in the first BHC, but this one just seemed a little more automated.
