I have to agree with Benton. I waited for years for a Lord of the Rings movie to come out and this one was a big disappointment.

This is a great movie, and the only good animated Tolkein movie. The Rankin/Bass "Return Of The KIng" was just godawful and I just couldn't get into Ralph Brakshi's "Lord Of The Rings".

The thing that really stole the show was the music, I love the song "The Greatest Adventure".

I hate anything to do with lord of the rings. ALthough I do enjoy the mad tv spoof. Lord of the bling.

It's on DVD.There is also a cartoon version of "Lord of the Rings",and "The Return of the King".I saw all 3 at Blockbuster.If I'm not mistaken,they used to show this cartoon on T.V. around a holiday.Easter,I think.At least locally in Detroit.

I have an old trailer to The Hobbit. I found the old trailer on an old video tape that was in my video library. I plan on sending a copy of that trailer along with some other trailers sometime soon. So if you want to see a trailer to The Hobbit, just be patient and it will come.
