Let me restate some things I mentioned above: turns out this series and "Space Goofs" were originally produced for French TV (thus the reason a French animation studio produced them). Fox only got the distribution rights to air both shows. It also turns out that Fox chose to air only a handful of the episodes. Since the show relied on outlandishly outrageous slapstick humor, most of the eps contained a subsequently excessive amount of gratuitous cartoon violence that just didn't pass the muster with the Fox censors.
If anyone is interested, you can see the entire series (largely uncensored, as it aired on French TV) @ www.dailymotion.com
Some might dismiss this show as a "Ren & Stimpy knockoff", and rightfully so with it's similar animation style, but I suppose it did have a charm all it's own, and in that sense should've deserved time to grow on toon buffs. But as with it's predecessor, "Space Goofs (both shows were distributed by Gaumont, btw), Fox only produced these shows as summer fill-ins while negotiating new distribution deals to restructure their SatAM line-up for the coming season and retitle it "The FoxBox".
